For access using an Ethernet Cable...
From within the Control Panel select Network Connections. Right-click on Local Area Connection and click Properties.
Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click the Properties
button.
The Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box opens. Make sure the Obtain an IP address automatically Radio Button is marked as well as the Obtain DNS server address automatically Radio Button. Click OK.
Your network card is now configured to use the Library's network.

Troubleshooting: (Fixing Problems)
1. Make sure your network cable is plugged into your card and into the first port on the panel on the wall and try again.
2. Click the Start Button then click Run. Type in CMD and press return. When the window opens enter the following lines:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit
