Curriculum Collection

The Curriculum Collection, located on the third floor, includes resource units, activity guides, bulletin board idea books, games, posters, patterns, big books, flip charts, art prints, learning kits and manipulative materials available for classroom use.

The depository of all state-adopted textbooks for grades pre-K through twelve is housed in this area. In partnership with the Tennessee Department of Education, Curriculum provides access to this collection for MTSU students and faculty as well as educators throughout the state.

Also located in the Curriculum Collection area is the Library Service Collection. This collection provides a representative selection of books one could expect to find in an elementary or secondary school library. It is used primarily by students taking courses in Library Sciences.

All materials located in the Curriculum Collection area are listed in the Library's online catalog, Voyager.

This area of the Library is typically used by students whose academic goal is to pursue work in educational fields.

The Curriculum Collection is staffed by two librarians and three library assistants.
