In addition to being the home of the country music industry, Nashville continues to be an important center for the religious publishing industry, including the production of hymnals. The Baptist Standard Hymnal of the African-American National Baptist Convention is, like many other hymnals, a publication of the Sunday School Publishing Board of the National Baptist Convention. Also active in Nashville are the Church of God in Christ Publishing Board, the Methodist Publishing House, and the Publishing House of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South.
